James Wipperman

James Wipperman is an experienced brewing professional currently serving as the Technical Brewing Manager at Beavertown Brewery since January 2022. Previously, James held the role of Operations Manager and Head of Brewing & Processing at Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company from February 2018 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing a team of 41, overseeing departmental priorities, and assessing CAPEX budgets. James also has experience as a Technical Brewer at Carlsberg and served in various leadership roles at Marston's PLC, Shepherd Neame Ltd, and Dark Star Brewing Co Ltd. With a strong educational background, James earned a Master Brewer certification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, an MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Durham University.
