Ellie Horner

Ellie Horner is currently serving as the Group Head of Ceded Reinsurance at Beazley since February 2020, after previously holding the position of Ceded Reinsurance Manager. Prior to this, Ellie gained extensive experience as a US Casualty Treaty Broker at Aon from May 2007 to February 2020, and spent time as an Assistant Manager in the Reorganisation Services Team at Deloitte from October 2006 to May 2007, focusing on Insurance Advisory for M&As. Ellie's early career began at Wellington Underwriting, where participation in the Graduate Trainee scheme involved rotations through various roles within a Lloyd's syndicate, including actuarial, underwriting, planning, and claims, from February 2004 to October 2006. Ellie holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 2003.
