Maggie Slaughter

Maggie Slaughter is a Cyber Underwriter at Beazley, where participation in the Underwriting Accelerated Training Program commenced in July 2022. Previously, Maggie was an Assistant Underwriter at Beazley and held positions at Hylant as a Commercial Service Intern and at Gallagher as a National Risk Control Intern. Early experience includes a role as a Team Member at Bullseye Event Group, contributing to large events and supporting logistical operations. As Chief Executive Officer of Dog Vision, a student-run business, Maggie co-founded and led the successful venture, presenting a business plan that secured funding. Maggie's career began as a Camp Counselor at Lake Bluff Park District, where management of camper activities and safety was emphasized. Maggie earned a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance with a focus on Actuarial Science from Butler University in 2022.
