Oliver Shorey

Oliver Shorey is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in database management and software development. Currently serving as a Freelance IT consultant since March 2022, Oliver has been an IT Data Services Manager at Beazley since January 2007, overseeing the DBA, BI, and Database Development teams while setting strategic direction. Previous roles include Database Administration Manager and Production DBA, with expertise in SQL Server, VMware, and ITIL. Oliver's career also includes key positions at Union Street Technologies Limited as a Senior Application Developer and at Amlin Credit Limited as Development Team Lead, among others. Oliver holds a BSc in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
