Shane Fitzgerald

Shane Fitzgerald currently serves as the Head of Risk at Beazley Solutions International and Group Risk Manager for Beazley Group, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Shane was the VP Risk Manager at iptiQ by Swiss Re from January 2020 to April 2022 and the Risk Management Lead at Lloyds of London Tysers from January 2019 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Risk Continuity Executive at Lloyd's from July 2016 to December 2018, where responsibilities included quality checking Business Impact Analyses and developing business continuity exercises. Shane began a career in risk management as a Risk Management Analyst at Allianz Partners in 2015, contributing to the company's Business Continuity Program. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Studies with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Limerick, completed in 2016.
