Liz Waugh

Liz Waugh is a Principal Engineer at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., with a tenure beginning in June 2016, where responsibilities include project management in the Construction and Maintenance group, technical oversight of fabrication contracts for nuclear power plant heat exchangers, and involvement in the design and implementation of shipboard IT networks for reactor plants. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Engineer at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation from June 2008 to June 2016, providing engineering support and oversight for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Nimitz class aircraft carrier reactor plants, as well as working as a design engineer for steam plant systems. Liz Waugh began a career in engineering as a Cooperative Engineer at FirstEnergy from August 2005 to August 2007 after earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 2008, with initial studies at Kent State University from 2002 to 2003.
