Carlos Alarco

Carlos Alarco is president for the Latin America region since 2018 and country manager of Bechtel’s office in Peru since 2014.

Carlos has more than 26 years of professional experience in engineering and construction, focused on mechanical design, engineering, project management and business development. He has worked in Peru, Germany, and France in industry, mining, infrastructure and aeronautical projects.

As country manager of Bechtel Peru, he is responsible for the commercial, operational and management development of the Bechtel office in Peru primarily for the Mining and Metals global business unit. As region president for Latin America, he is responsible for representing Bechtel in the region and supporting all of Bechtel’s businesses in identifying new opportunities, supporting business development efforts, and building and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships.
