Gerardo de Leon

Gerardo De Leon is a seasoned Piping Stress Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Bechtel Corporation since June 2022, Gerardo previously held similar positions at Kiewit from January 2019 to June 2022 and Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals from May 2016 to December 2018, where contributions included the Atlantic LNG Upgrades Project. Prior roles also include serving as a Resident Pipe Stress Engineer for the Angola LNG Project at Bechtel Corporation in early 2016, and a Pipe Stress Engineer for the Wheatstone Project LNG Plant from 2011 to 2015. Earlier in his career, Gerardo gained research experience as an intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2010. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
