Iva Zagar

Iva Zagar has extensive experience in communication and issues management, currently serving as the Global Issues Management and Crisis Communications Lead at Bechtel Corporation since July 2017. In this role, Iva designs and leads the company's global issues management and crisis communications program, including efforts related to COVID-19. Previous positions at Bechtel include Global Media Relations Lead, where Iva established a Corporate Affairs Center of Excellence, and Global Communications and External Affairs Lead for Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals, driving global communications strategy. Iva has a well-rounded background in managing stakeholder relationships and public relations across various major infrastructure projects, with a career beginning in the Ministry of Reconstruction and Development of Croatia. Iva Zagar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zagreb.
