Jeremy Johnston

Jeremy Johnston is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in music instruction and performance. Currently serving as an Academic Support Services Technician at Cuyahoga Community College since May 2024, and as a Music Instructor at both the Beck Center for the Arts and Cuyahoga Valley Guitar School since 2022 and 2019, respectively, Jeremy provides private and group music instruction. Previously, Jeremy held positions such as Interim Bandleader and Bass Player for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group and Band Leader for Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba. With a strong background in audio production education from F.I.R.S.T. Institute and a foundational role as a Music Faculty member at the Music Institute of Chicago, Jeremy has shaped the musical journey of many students. Jeremy holds a Master of Music with Distinction in Music Performance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in Music from Santa Clara University.
