Mike Schwartz

Mike Schwartz is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Becker Orthopedic, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development. Since joining Becker in June 2016, Mike has successfully developed and launched multiple sizes and variants of the MILINE Ankle Joint, addressing challenges with international suppliers to achieve cost savings. Prior roles include Product Development Engineer, where Mike contributed to the design and testing of ankle joint components, and Manufacturing Engineer, where prototype development and manufacturing training were key responsibilities. Mike's experience also includes a solid foundation in R&D as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, with early work as a Research and Development Intern and Research Assistant focused on carbon fiber applications in jet engines. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
