Amy Hurwitz Gutschenritter has extensive experience in various leadership roles. Amy is currently serving as the CEO of Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA since October 2019, after previously serving as the Interim CEO from September 2018 to September 2019. Amy also has experience as a Board member for the Institute for Nonprofit Practice from 2018 to 2019.
Prior to their current role, Amy had a long tenure with Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, where they served on the Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2018. Amy held various positions during their time on the Board, including Co-Chair of a $12.5 million comprehensive campaign from 2012 to 2016 and Board Chair from 2008 to 2010.
Amy's professional experience also includes being a Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merchant Services from 2015 to 2017, a Strategic Advisor in the Financial Services industry in 2014, and the Head of Global Client Relations and a member of the Management Committee at SIX Securities Services from 2009 to 2013.
Amy began their career at Bank of America, where they worked as a Vice President from 1987 to 1995. Amy then joined State Street Bank as a Senior Vice President, where they played a key role in the integration of custody operations during the acquisition of Deutsche Bank's Global Custody business.
Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated their expertise in leadership, strategic management, and relationship building.
Amy Hurwitz Gutschenritter has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Psychology from Tufts University. Amy also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Bentley University.
