Marissa Sander is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Beckett Springs since August 2019. Prior to this role, Marissa worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services, where responsibilities included conducting diagnostic assessments and individual counseling sessions. Marissa gained valuable experience as a Counseling Intern at Watauga Medical Center's Seby Jones Cancer Center, focusing on support for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. While earning a Master’s Degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Appalachian State University, Marissa also completed various internships and worked with undergraduate students in academic support roles. Marissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton and was actively involved in campus organizations aimed at promoting women's empowerment.
