Mohammad Khan

Mohammad Khan has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in research and development (R&D) and product development. Mohammad is currently the Head of Engineering (R&D) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Abbott from 2015 to 2022, where they held the position of Senior Manager Product Development Electrophysiology- R&D. During their time at Abbott, Mohammad successfully led a large product development team, managed multiple infrastructures and system implementations, and supported numerous submissions.

Before joining Abbott, Mohammad worked at Medica as a Senior Delivery Leader from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they spearheaded strategies for new product development and implemented projects with a strict budget and time constraints. Mohammad also led the transition to agile methodology and implemented testing best practices, resulting in significant efficiencies.

Mohammad's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Cargill in 2012 and as a Release Manager at UnitedHealth Group from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Medtronic from 2005 to 2010.

Mohammad Khan holds a Master of Software Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from St. Cloud State University. Additionally, they have obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. Mohammad also has additional certifications in Project Management Professional, MBA Essentials, Effective Negotiations, and Leading Transformational Change from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
