Beckman Coulter
Solenne Marion is a Staff Development Scientist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, contributing to the development of the next-generation rAST platform and assays since May 2023, while also implementing the Danaher Technology Development Process for the Microbiology business unit. Previously, Solenne worked as a Process Manager at Roche Diagnostics Europe from September 2021 to January 2023, advising project teams on various management aspects for product development, and contributed to PCR-based instruments and assays for infectious disease diagnosis. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at EPFL, focusing on the biogeography and biochemistry of bile acid 7-dehydroxylating bacteria, and research at Yale School of Medicine on vector-borne disease pathogenesis. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Gut Microbiology from EPFL, a Doctor of Pharmacy from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a Master’s in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Université Paris Cité.
