Andrew Reid

Andrew Reid began their work experience in 1989 as the owner and president of Raven Security & Communications, Inc. Andrew then worked for Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. from 2001 to 2005 as the Operations Manager for the Fire Safety Division in The Carolinas. In 2006, Reid joined BHC where they held various positions including Manager of Operations, Vice President of Purchasing, Chief Procurement Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.

Andrew Reid attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a major in Finance and a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Andrew graduated in 1988.

In addition to their degree, Andrew has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1989, they became a North Carolina Alarm Board License Holder, certified by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board and the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board. The same year, they also obtained a North Carolina SP-LV Electrical License Holder certification from the NC State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.

In 2004, Andrew acquired a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Sigma Breakthrough Technologies, Inc. Andrew also obtained a NICET Level 1-Fire Protection Engineering Technologies / Fire Alarm Systems certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies in the same year.

Most recently, in 2013, Andrew obtained an Allied Individual Member certification from The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
