Sara Wagar Sphr

Sara Wagar, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources and operational management. Currently working in the Human Resources department at BHC since December 2017, Wagar provides comprehensive support in recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. Prior to this role, Wagar served as Multi-Disciplinary Team Coordinator at the St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council, collaborating with various agencies to enhance abuse investigation and ensuring stringent compliance for re-accreditation. Wagar's background also includes significant positions at Trinity Health Senior Communities, where responsibilities encompassed licensure preparation and operational management, and as General Manager of Hampton Inn for First Hospitality Group, overseeing hotel operations. Wagar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Hospitality Management from Baker College of Port Huron and completed additional training through the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan.
