Laiba W. is a dedicated and engaged individual currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at The University of Manchester, expected to graduate in August 2026. Laiba has accumulated significant volunteer experience, including roles as a Prison helpline volunteer at the Prison Advice and Care Trust (Pact), a Student Ambassador at The University of Manchester, and a School exclusion ambassador with Coram. Additionally, Laiba contributes to various initiatives such as being a Wellbeing ambassador and serving on the Strategy and Steering groups at Mind, focusing on the intersection of mental health and education. Selected for the Young Commissioner role within the London Borough of Newham, Laiba participates in the interview process for positions in the youth service and is actively involved in the Youth empowerment fund to support local young people.
