Erin Zook

Erin Zook is an accomplished professional in medical affairs, currently serving as Director of Medical Affairs at BD since September 2016, with previous roles including Associate Director and Manager in the same division. Erin's expertise encompasses the development and execution of nonclinical and clinical strategies for drug, device, and combination products, along with the implementation of pre-clinical models for safety and efficacy studies. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Scientist at Astellas Pharma US focusing on pharmacodynamics biomarker assays and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, where contributions involved research on lymphoid development. Erin holds a PhD in Immunology and Aging from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
