Jeff Calhoun is a dedicated hardware systems engineer with nearly 17 years of experience in developing medical diagnostic instrumentation and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests. They have successfully developed two major IVD cancer diagnostic platforms from inception to launch and contributed to various diagnostic platforms at differing maturity levels. As a mechanical designer and systems engineer, they facilitated cross-disciplinary teams and led significant projects, including the Bio-Rad QX One platform and the DELFI FirstLook lung IVD product. Currently, they are a Staff Systems Engineer at BD while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arizona.
