John Tomczak

John Tomczak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality operations and regulatory affairs within the medical device and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Surgery Operations Quality at BD since October 2018, John leads quality operations activities across eight global sites, focusing on manufacturing processes for PMA, drugs, and medical devices. Previous roles include Director of Quality Electromechanical and Service Operations at CR Bard, and Director Quality and Regulatory at Philips, among others. John holds dual EMBA degrees in Engineering and Business from the University of Pittsburgh, reflecting a strong academic foundation to complement a diverse career that spans multiple aspects of quality management and compliance in healthcare technology.
