Karen Eckert

Karen Eckert has extensive experience in the medical affairs sector, currently serving as a Medical Affairs Director at BD since January 1999, with roles that include oversight of clinical development and process excellence. Responsibilities encompass being a core team representative for new product development, managing studies, and contributing to protocol writing and publications. Prior to BD, Karen was a Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University, focusing on infectious disease and epidemiology, particularly HIV research in high-risk populations. Educationally, Karen holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
