Marcus J. Goudie

Marcus J. Goudie, PhD, serves as an R&D Staff Engineer at BD since June 2024, previously leading engineering efforts at Invoy from October 2020 to January 2024 focused on the development of next-generation breath analysis devices. Earlier, Marcus was a Biodesign Fellow at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where innovative advancements in interventional neuroradiology were achieved through soft robotics. Academic training includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Biomaterials from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Diverse experience encompasses roles in research, project engineering, and the development of medical devices and processes.
