Pavan Mocherla

Pavan Mocherla serves as executive vice president and president of the Greater Asia region for BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He is also a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team. Based in Singapore, Mocherla leads the company’s business operations in China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Southeast Asia, India/South Asia and Pakistan.

Mocherla joined BD in 2003 and has since served in leadership roles across country, region and worldwide roles. He has progressed from sales to general management, most recently as the country general manager of South Asia. Prior to that, he held leadership roles including VP of Strategic Innovation for Greater Asia, worldwide platform leader of the Specimen Management Containment Business Platform in Franklin Lakes, NJ, and business director of Pre-Analytical Systems for regions including South Asia, as well as residing in the Middle East where he led the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining BD, he was general manager of sales for Whirlpool in Chennai, India, where he led teams in the Tamil Nadu and Kerela regions overseeing sales, commercial and trade marketing.

Mocherla earned his Bachelor of Science from Osmania University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and General Management from Pondicherry University in India.
