Achim Altpeter

Achim Altpeter is a seasoned professional in structural engineering with extensive experience in steel construction design. Currently serving as a Senior Structure Lead Designer at Bedeschi S.p.a. since May 2023, Achim previously held the position of Stahlbaukonstrukteur at FLSmidth from September 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included 3D CAD using AdvanceSteel and various engineering tasks. Prior to this, Achim worked at ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solution from February 2012 to May 2023, specializing in 3D CAD design and engineering for large equipment. Achim's career also includes significant roles at Ingenieurbüro Hebel GmbH and Riehm Stahl-und Einrichtungsbau, focusing on 2D and 3D steel construction drawings and technical clarifications. Achim began in the field as a technical draftsman at Krummenauer and Pfüll GmbH. Achim holds a degree as Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in Mechanical Engineering from Saartechnikum HTL and previously completed training as a technical draftsman specializing in steel construction.
