Suhas Pai

Suhas Pai has had a diverse career in the technology industry. In 2012, they began their career as a Staff Software Engineer at IBM. Later that same year, they took on a Thesis Internship at IBM, where they designed and implemented solutions to automatically classify data stored on mainframe (z/OS) systems based on their security level. In 2019, they became a Steering Committee Member at Aggregate Intellect, where they were the leader and organizer of an NLP paper-reading club with over 250 members. In 2020, they co-founded Bedrock AI, a Y Combinator-backed company, and also became a Machine Learning Mentor at SharpestMinds. In 2021, they took on the role of NLP Chair at the Toronto Machine Learning Society (TMLS).

Suhas Pai attended Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. Suhas then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Eindhoven University of Technology, which they completed in 2012.
