Bob Harvey has extensive work experience in various roles. Bob started their career in the United States Air Force in 1983 as a Base Bioenvironmental Engineer and worked there until 1986. In 1986, they joined Beech-Nut Nutrition Company as a Technical Service Director and has been with the company since then.

Bob Harvey's education history begins with their attendance at SUNY Canton from 1972 to 1974, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering Science. Bob then enrolled in the State University of New York College at Potsdam from 1975 to 1977, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on chemistry and physics. Continuing their academic journey, Bob attended the University of Dayton from 1979 to 1982, where they completed a Bachelor's of Chemical Engineering degree, specializing in Chemical Engineering.
