Mikel Rius

Mikel Rius is the Founder of Beer Events SL, where Mikel organizes events centered around craft beer, with the Barcelona Beer Festival being the main project. Mikel is also a Co-Owner of Cerveses La Pirata and a Head Teacher at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, teaching 'The Beer Sector' subject. Mikel is also a Recognized Beer Judge at the Beer Judge Certification Program. Prior to their current roles, Mikel worked as a Renewables Energies Engineer at various companies, specializing in solar energy projects and renewable energies. With a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Mikel has a strong background in engineering and a passion for the beer industry.
