Paul Nelson has a diverse work history. Paul started their career in 2003 as a Screenwriter, working independently until 2011. In 2004, they also worked as a FileMaker Developer for a contractor and later for VANGUARD ANIMATION UK LIMITED. In 2004, they joined Neo Code Consulting as a Technical Lead and FileMaker Developer, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Filemaker Developer at Beezwax Datatools, Inc.
Paul Nelson completed their Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at Simon Fraser University from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications related to FileMaker development from FileMaker Inc., an Apple subsidiary. These certifications include FileMaker 18 Certified Developer in July 2019, FileMaker 17 Certified Developer in July 2018, FileMaker 16 Certified Developer in July 2017, and FileMaker Certified Developer for versions 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. Furthermore, Paul Nelson recently obtained the certification of Claris FileMaker Certified Developer from Claris in May 2021.
