Saadia Safian, LMHC, C.R.C., is a highly experienced mental health professional and founder of Open Door Mental Health Counseling PC since July 2019. In addition to serving as CEO, Saadia has been a psychotherapist in private practice with Behavioral Health Associates since February 2019, providing mental health counseling to adolescents and adults facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Previously, Saadia held positions as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the New York State Department of Education / ACCES-VR from November 2015 to February 2019, as well as with Outreach and Universal Abilities. Saadia also served as Employment Services Coordinator at Clubhouse of Suffolk from 2007 to 2013. Saadia holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and an MS.Ed in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Hofstra University, as well as a Master’s degree in Child Development from the University of the Punjab.
