Garrett King

Garrett King has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. Garrett began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Stephen F. Austin State University's Counseling Clinic, where they were responsible for client documentation, payment collection, and clinic operations. Garrett then worked as a Mental Health Clinician at Burke Center, providing case management and psychosocial rehabilitation to severely mentally ill clients. Garrett also worked as a Mental Health Clinician at UTMB-CMC, providing counseling services to offenders in the TDCJ prison system. Garrett joined Memorial Hermann Health System as a Master Response Clinician, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Garrett serves as the Clinical Director at Behavioral Health Connections.

Garrett King received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2011. Garrett then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the same university between 2011 and 2013.
