Mayia Riggs

Mayia Riggs, MA, LPC, LCDC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Owner of Better Wellness Solutions, PLLC, since May 2023, offering telehealth sessions to address a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Riggs also holds the position of Clinical Team Lead at Texana Center and serves as a Mobile Mental Health Clinician at Behavioral Health Connections. Previous roles include Community Supervision Officer-Assessor at Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department and Case Manager at both The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD and Texas HCS, Inc. Riggs earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston.
