Nikira Epps

Nikira Epps, MPH, currently serves as the Rehabilitation & Treatment Coordinator and Early Childhood & School Based Program Lead at Behavioral Health System Baltimore, overseeing school-based behavioral health services. Epps has extensive experience in coaching volleyball, holding positions as the Head Coach of a 15 travel team at Masters Volleyball Academy and as Varsity Volleyball Coach at The Bryn Mawr School. Previous roles include Senior Qualitative Research Assistant at Morgan State University, where qualitative research was conducted on opioid response grant funding, and Senior Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on behavioral health in schools. Epps has also worked as a Mental Health Care Coordinator at Wraparound Maryland, a Post-Bac NICHD Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and a Hotline Counselor at Community Help Centre. Epps holds a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences from Morgan State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Penn State University.
