Tazia Jackson

Tazia Jackson, MBA, CE has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Tazia is currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Development at Fremont Hospital - Behavioral Health since October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Business Development / Interim Director of Intake at the same facility from September 2022.

From 2014 to present, Tazia worked at Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire, where they started as a Senior Business Development Liaison and eventually became the Director of Business Development in May 2019.

Before that, they worked at Be The Match from 2012 to 2014, fulfilling the roles of Account Manager/Donor Recruiter and Donor Relations Manager/Donor Recruiter.

Tazia's early professional experience includes working as a Patient Access Specialist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from February 2011 to December 2011.

Tazia Jackson attended Jackson State University, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2005 to 2010. Tazia later pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Delta State University from 2021 to 2022. In 2023, they obtained a certificate in Epidemiology from Jackson State University.
