Anna Cook

Anna Cook (Stephens) has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on marketing and commercial leadership. Anna is currently the Head of Commercial, ANZ at BeiGene, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Haematology, ANZ at the same company from 2022 to 2023. Before joining BeiGene, Anna worked at AbbVie where they held the positions of CLL Area Lead (JAPAC) and Oncology & Haematology Marketing Lead from 2021 to 2022. Anna also has a significant tenure at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they held various director-level positions in marketing and market access from 2014 to 2020. Anna started their career at Nordic Pharma as an Associate Product Manager and later served as a Commercial Marketing Manager. Anna also worked at Abbott Diabetes Care and Innovex as a Territory Manager and a Medical Sales Representative, respectively.

Anna Cook (Stephens) has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Exeter, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Anna also holds a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, which they earned from 2009 to 2010. In addition, Anna has a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the same institution, which they completed in 2010 to 2011. Anna has also obtained various certifications including Foundations of Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2018, Medicines Australia from the University of Tasmania in 2014, Business Development from the Pharmaceutical Licensing Group in 2010, Access to Operating Theatres from BTEC Professional Award in 2008, and ABPI Exam from the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry in 2007.
