Chirayu Desai

Chirayu Desai currently serves as Vice President and Global Head of Data Strategy and Solutions at BeiGene, a position held since September 2024. Previously, from November 2019 to September 2024, Desai was Executive Director and Global Head of Enterprise Data and Analytics Engineering and Platforms at Bristol-Myers Squibb, overseeing a global organization of over 400 employees and managing an annual budget exceeding $70 million. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of Global Data, Information and Analytics at Celgene, where Desai led the consolidation of data teams and established the award-winning “Synapse” platform. Desai's earlier career at CGI Federal spanned roles from Senior Consultant to VP, Consulting Services, focusing on healthcare IT initiatives. Desai holds a Master's in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sardar Patel University, and is currently enrolled in a Chief Technology Officer Program at Wharton Executive Education.
