Vinod Ambekar

Vinod Ambekar has an extensive work history in the field of clinical data management. Vinod began their career at Accenture as a Senior Process Associate, where they planned, coordinated, and executed various activities related to clinical trials. Vinod then worked at Novartis as an eCRF Developer, overseeing and managing the performance of Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the clinical trial database design.

Ambekar continued their career at Virtusa as a Senior Software Engineer, Phase Forward as an Associate Clinical Design Consultant, and Oracle as a Senior Clinical Design Consultant. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the development and maintenance of clinical trial databases, including study planning, timelines, and operational deliverables.

Vinod then worked at HCL Technologies as a Senior Consultant, where they managed projects, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and executed software implementation activities. Subsequently, Ambekar joined Kadmon Corporation, LLC as a Clinical Database Designer, where they utilized development tools to design databases in EDC and managed the lifecycle of study databases.

Currently, Ambekar is employed at BeiGene as a Principal Clinical Database Programmer. Vinod is responsible for developing, programming, testing, and maintaining clinical trials and databases using RAVE. Vinod also serves as the EDC Administrator and supports various operational deliverables.

Throughout their career, Ambekar has demonstrated strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of clinical data management processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and external vendors.

Vinod Ambekar completed their Bachelor's degree in Life Science at Veerasaiva College from 1997 to 2000. Vinod then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree at Gulbarga University from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Vinod has obtained a certification as a Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder from Medidata Solutions.
