Yong Cao

Han Ma joined BeiGene in 2021 and serves as the Chief Safety Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Patient Safety. Dr. Ma brings nearly two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, spanning pre- and post-market clinical safety and risk management with a significant oncology focus. Most recently, she served as Global Patient Safety’s Vice President for Safety Science and Epidemiology.

Dr. Ma’s broad experience across the product lifecycle bridges clinical development with safety in support of making innovative medicines available to patients globally. Prior to joining BeiGene, she spent 20 years at Roche/Genentech in leadership roles with increasing responsibility within clinical development, discovery and translational research, and patient safety. Notably, while at Roche, she served as Global Medical Director responsible for building and leading a safety sciences team in Shanghai and served as the lead for their global molecular virology and pharmacology group within the infectious diseases therapeutic area. Prior to joining the industry, she was a clinical oncologist for 6 years working directly with patients.

Dr. Ma earned a medical degree from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and a Ph.D. in molecular pathobiology from the University of Southern California.



Han Ma

Mehrdad Mobasher, M.D., M.P.H., joined the company in August 2022 as Chief Medical Officer for Hematology. Prior to joining BeiGene, Dr. Mobasher served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Late-Stage Oncology Development at Zai Lab, responsible for the entire late-stage oncology portfolio. Prior to Zai Lab, he was the Chief Medical Officer at Corvus Pharmaceuticals, where he led the pipeline development in solid tumors, COVID-19, and T-cell lymphomas. Previously, Mehrdad spent about nine years at Roche/Genentech in a variety of leadership roles, including Group Medical Director and venetoclax Development Lead across all indications.

Mehrdad was also an adjunct clinical faculty member in the Division of Medical Oncology at Stanford University after finishing his post-doctoral fellowships in hematology and medical oncology there. He received an M.D. from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran, and an M.P.H. in general epidemiology from the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

Mehrdad Mobasher

Beth Wensley joined BeiGene in May of 2022. Prior to joining BeiGene, she worked in the synthetic biology field joining AI and drug discovery. Her other previous experience includes biotech and pharma in program and portfolio management leadership from research to commercialization at Aviron, MedImmune, and AstraZeneca.

Beth holds a master’s degree in business administration from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Washington. She also has a bachelor’s degree in biology from California Lutheran University.

Beth Wensley

Dr. Yan Qi joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in January 2021, as Vice President of Public Affairs for Greater China. Dr. Qi has rich experiences across the healthcare, nutrition, and consumer industries, both in China and internationally.

Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Qi worked for [Danone](/org/danone) as Vice President for Global Corporate Affairs and as a Worldwide Management Board member for the [Danone](/org/danone) Specialized Nutrition business. She also worked for [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson) and L’Oreal, where she held several leadership roles covering regulatory affairs, government affairs and policy, and scientific affairs, first for China, Asia Pacific region, then worldwide. Besides China, Dr. Qi has also worked in the U.S. and several countries in Europe, including the Netherlands and France. Dr. Qi holds a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical science.

Jason Radford is the SVP, Business Transformation at [BeiGene](/org/beigene). Jason was previously the Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at Genomic Health from May 2015 to November 2019.

Jason Radford is a world-leading expert in genomic-based diagnostic tests and their applications in cancer treatment. Jason has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on genomics and precision medicine.

Radford obtained their JD from Harvard Law School and their BA from [Yale University](/org/yale-university). Jason is a member of the California and Massachusetts Bar Associations.

Jason Radford's educational career consists of earning a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management, and a JD from Boston College Law School.

Jason Radford

Kevin Mannix is the current SVP of Investor Relations at [BeiGene](/org/beigene). Kevin has over 25 years of experience in Investor Relations and Financial Communications. Kevin has worked for several companies, including The Global Consulting Group, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., and Citigate Dewe Rogerson. Kevin has a lot of experience in capital markets and is an expert in stock surveillance and institutional targeting.

Kevin Mannix

John V. Oyler is the current Founder & CEO of [BeiGene](/org/beigene), a biotechnology company based in China. John has held various other notable positions in the past, including CEO of BioDuro from July 2005 to November 2009, CEO of [Galenea](/org/galenea) from February 2002 to June 2004, and President of Telephia from January 1998 to December 2002. Oyler has also been a Consultant for [McKinsey & Company](/org/mckinsey-company) from September 1990 to June 1995.

John V. Oyler graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Biomechanical Engineering. John then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

John V. Oyler

Julia Wang joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in June 2020 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she partners across the enterprise to optimize intrinsic value creation through greater financial discipline.  Ms. Wang has extensive global finance experience across biotech, pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostic testing, and consumer products. She was most recently Senior Vice President, Global Business Finance, Corporate Finance and Corporate FP&A at [Alexion Pharmaceuticals](/org/alexion-pharmaceuticals), and prior to that position she served in various leadership roles at [Quest Diagnostics](/org/quest-diagnostics). Previously, Ms. Wang spent over five years at [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson) leading finance at several operating companies, including Xian-Janssen Pharmaceutical, J&J’s pharmaceutical business in China. She received an MBA from Fuqua School of Business at [Duke University](/org/duke-university) and a B.A. in British Language and Literature from Shandong Normal University.

Julia Wang

Geoffrey Kim, M.D. joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in August 2019 as Vice President, Applied Innovation, leading the creation and incubation of technological solutions to increase patient access to clinical trials and novel therapeutics. Prior to his appointment at [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Kim served in several senior roles at [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca), including Vice President, Oncology Regulatory Science and Strategy as well as Head of Strategic Combinations in the Immuno-Oncology Franchise. Previously, Dr. Kim oversaw the evaluation and regulation of oncology drug products for breast, genitourinary and gynecologic cancers as a division director in the Office of Hematology Oncology Products at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and worked on numerous cross-center initiatives such as companion diagnostics, dose-finding optimization strategies, and the Oncology Center of Excellence. Dr. Kim is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, and he completed his medical oncology fellowship at the [National Cancer Institute](/org/national-cancer-institute) (NCI) and his residency in internal medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center. He received his medical degree from [New York Medical College](/org/new-york-medical-college) and a B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Geoffrey Kim

Jurij Petrin joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in 2021 and currently serves as Head of New Market Development. Before joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he served more than three years as Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs at the contract research organization [PRA Health Sciences](/org/pra-health-sciences). He previously founded two companies, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Services, a regulatory consultancy; and PRS Clinical, a CRO. While running PRS and PRS Clinical, he established a network of regulatory and clinical/medical consultants and CROs in more than 90 countries, providing strategic regulatory, clinical, and product registration support to many products in various stages of development worldwide.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Petrin spent more than nine years at Bristol Myers Squibb as Medical Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Executive Director of International Regulatory Affairs, and Vice President of Intercontinental Regulatory Science. He has also served as a consultant to [PhRMA](/org/phrma) on regulatory and market-introduction policy issues for Asia Pacific, with a focus on regulatory agencies in China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia.

He received his M.D. from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and completed a research fellowship at the University of Michigan.



Jurij Petrin

Dr. Minhong Yan joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in September 2021 and is Vice President, Head of the [BeiGene](/org/beigene) Institute. Prior to Joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he spent more than 20 years in the research division at [Genentech](/org/genentech), after obtaining his doctorate degree in molecular and cell biology from [Case Western Reserve University](/org/case-western-reserve-university). Dr. Yan brings rich expertise and experience in the biotech industry. He has initiated and led various drug programs for treating cancer, inflammation, and ocular diseases. He is the inventor of numerous U.S. patents.

Dr. Yan’s research interests span broad areas, including vascular biology, cancer immunology and antibody therapy. Intended to address fundamental questions with significant scientific and therapeutic ramifications, his research work has been published in high-impact journals including Nature, Science, Immunity, and Nature Immunology.



Minhong Yan

Adam Roach is currently VP and Head of Asia Pacific at [BeiGene](/org/beigene) serving on our Executive Committee and Global Commercial Leadership Team. Mr. Roach is accountable for setting our vision in Asia Pacific, developing commercial strategies, and has P&L responsibility across our diverse markets in the region.

Mr. Roach brings a wealth of experience from [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson)’s pharmaceutical business, where he held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in multiple functions, including government affairs & policy, communications, market access, and commercial across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the U.S.
Most recently before joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Mr. Roach served as VP and Head of Oncology for Janssen Japan leading a business of more than 400 people.

Throughout his career, Mr. Roach has demonstrated success in driving growth and business results, developing people, and engaging teams. He has a passion for people, teamwork, talent development, diversity, and inclusion.

Mr. Roach earned a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, a Master of Arts in International Relations and Politics from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Manufacturing Management from [University of Technology Sydney](/org/university-of-technology-sydney). In addition to his role with [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Mr. Roach currently serves on the Board of Directors for Medicines Australia.

Adam Roach

Shreya Jani joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in 2021 as Vice President of Corporate Affairs. In this role, she directs the company’s integrated approach to patient engagement and public health policy; social responsibility; colleague, digital and leadership communications; and media relations. Ms. Jani has a deep background in healthcare policy, as well as corporate and reputation communications, having worked in both public and private sector roles.

Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), she worked at [Pfizer](/org/pfizer), where she led Corporate Affairs for the vaccines, oncology and consumer healthcare businesses, and counselled chief executives on communications, reputation, policy and public affairs. At [Pfizer](/org/pfizer), she sat on the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team and supported the advancement of Asian colleagues as a founding member of the company’s Global Asian Alliance.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Jani worked for non-profit organizations, including Margaret Sanger International and the [World Health Organization](/org/world-health-organization) in Geneva, where she focused on HIV/AIDS and reproductive health issues.

Ms. Jani serves on the Board of the National Partnership of Women and Families and has previously served as a David Rockefeller Fellow at the Partnership of NYC. She received a B.A. and MPH from [New York University](/org/nyu). Ms. Jani lives in New York with her husband and three children.



Shreya Devendra Jani

Kyoung Lim joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in March 2022 and is the Vice President of Supply Chain. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), she was Vice President, Supply Chain Management for Samsung Biologics in South Korea, where she developed and implemented the vision and strategy for the supply chain operations and played a key role in establishing high performing Supply Chain & Procurement organization. She also held various positions at [Lonza](/org/lonza-group-ag), including procurement, supply chain, project management, S&OP, commercial operations & analytics, portfolio management.

Ms. Lim graduated from Chungnam National University in South Korea with a B.S. in chemistry.



Kyoung Lim

Zhiwei Wang joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in April 2011 and is Senior Vice President, Research Head of Chemistry. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he was Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry at BioDuro. Dr. Wang previously worked at [Novartis](/org/novartis) in San Diego as a Research Scientist in the Medicinal Chemistry Department. He also worked as Senior Scientist at [Ionis Pharmaceuticals](/org/ionis-pharmaceuticals) in San Diego.

Dr. Wang obtained his Ph.D degree in organic chemistry from [Lanzhou University](/org/lanzhou-university), and completed his postdoctoral training at [Vanderbilt University](/org/vanderbilt-university). He is the author or co-author, and inventor or co-inventor, of more than 50 publications and patents.



Zhiwei Wang

Xiang (Tony) Guo joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in June 2017 and is Vice President, Global Head of Statistics and Data Science. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he was Senior Director, Head of Statistics, for the APAC region for [Merck](/org/merck) (MSD). He also worked for Sanofi, in both U.S R&D and China R&D, with increasing responsibilities in Statistics.

Dr. Guo graduated from [North Carolina State University](/org/north-carolina-state-university) with a Ph.D. degree in statistics. He is also the deputy chair of the Statistics Committee of the China Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO).



Tony Guo

Michael Schoen joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in 2017 and serves as Chief of Staff to CEO John Oyler and Senior Vice President, Business Operations.

Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he was Managing Director & Head of Latin America & Caribbean Debt Capital Markets for [Scotiabank](/org/scotiabank). Mr. Schoen additionally held leadership roles at [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse), DLJ, and J.P. Morgan in their respective Emerging Markets groups.

Mr. Schoen serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the HealthCare Chaplaincy Network, a global healthcare nonprofit organization that offers spiritual care-related resources and professional chaplaincy services in healthcare settings and online. He holds a B.S. in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.



Michael Schoen

Ms. Eva Yin is currently Chief Commercial Officer, [BeiGene](/org/beigene) Greater China. Eva possesses nearly 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held various positions in finance, compliance, commercial & diversified channels, from where she gains profound insights into the development and characteristics of the healthcare industry.

Prior to [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Ms. Yin worked at [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca) from 2006 to 2021; She held various positions including Senior Business Finance Manager, Area Strategy Project Lead for International markets, China & HK Compliance VP, Commercial & Diversified Channel VP. By Jan 2017, Eva expanded her responsibility to oversight AZ HK & Macau. Since Jun 2018, Eva had been appointed as [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca) China Vice President, Oncology, and been promoted as General Manager of Oncology, [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca) China by Jan 2019.

Eva graduated from [Shanghai Jiao Tong University](/org/shanghai-jiao-tong-university), majoring in Finance & Trading and Computer Science. She obtained her full-time MBA from CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) and completed the exchange program in LBS (London Business School) in 2002.

Eva Yin

Mark Lanasa, M.D., Ph.D., joined the company in February 2022 as Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer for Solid Tumors. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Lanasa served as the Vice President and Global Clinical Head, Late Development Oncology at [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca) from 2019 to 2022. He previously held a number of positions at [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca), including Global Clinical Lead and Global Development Lead for Immuno-Oncology, Senior Medical Director in Clinical Development, and Medical Director in Early Clinical Development. His key achievements include leading the initial approval and lifecycle management development strategy for Enhertu (trastuzumab deruxtecan) for [AstraZeneca](/org/astrazeneca), in collaboration with Daiichi-Sankyo. He also led clinical development strategy for the PD-L1 inhibitor durvalumab in breast and gynecological cancers, as well as for the approved medicine Lumoxiti (moxetumomab pasudotox). Mark also worked as Senior Director of Clinical Development at [Immunocore](/org/immunocore), where he contributed to the late-phase development of T-cell engager Kimmtrak (tebentafusp-tebn). Mark earned his B.S. in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, and both his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular genetics and M.D. in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the [University of Pittsburgh](/org/university-of-pittsburgh) School of Medicine. He completed his residency and was a post-graduate fellow at the [Duke University](/org/duke-university) Medical Center, where was subsequently faculty in hematologic malignancies.  

Mark Lanasa

Dr. ChiChi Huang joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in September 2019 and is the Vice President, Head of Biologics. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Huang has over twenty years of extensive scientific and management experience at [Pfizer](/org/pfizer) and [Johnson & Johnson](/org/johnson-johnson), with broad expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities, including monoclonal antibodies, peptides, fusion proteins, and vaccines.

Dr. Huang obtained his doctoral degree in Biochemistry from [Tufts University](/org/tufts-university) Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and completed his post-doctoral training at [Harvard University](/org/harvard) Medical School.

Chichi Huang

Chan Lee joined BeiGene as General Counsel in July 2022.

Mr. Lee previously worked at Sanofi from 2016 to 2022, where he served as North America General Counsel and Head of Legal for the Specialty Care Global Business Unit, responsible for the legal oversight of the company’s U.S. and Canada businesses and its global Specialty Care business. Prior to Sanofi, he held roles of increasing responsibility from 2008 to 2016 at Pfizer, most notably as Chief Counsel for Pfizer’s Innovative Health global business, and, earlier, as Chief Counsel for the Vaccines, Oncology and Consumer Health global businesses, and as Assistant General Counsel for Asia.

Mr. Lee earned his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and his B.S. in applied economics from Cornell University.



Chan Lee

Zhirong Shen joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in August 2015 and is Vice President, Global Head of Translational Discovery, Research and Medicine. He is an experienced leader in drug discovery, translational research, and development. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), he was Director of Metabolomics Center at National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing (NIBS).

Dr. Shen received his B.S. in 2003 from Nanjing University and obtained his Ph.D. in Basic Biomedical Science in 2010 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSW). He completed his post-doctoral training at UTSW and NIBS with Dr. Xiaodong Wang. Dr. Shen’s research interests span broad areas, including cancer biology, cancer immunology, and drug resistance mechanisms of anti-cancer targeted therapy and immunotherapy.

Zhirong Shen

Dr. Liu joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in 2017 and is the Vice President of Research and Head of Biology.

Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Liu worked for more than 20 years at [Incyte](/org/incyte) and Abbott Laboratories in roles of increasing responsibility.  During this period, he initiated and led a variety of programs, with a focus on oncology drug discovery.

Dr. Liu received his B.S. in 1990 and M.S. in 1993 from Beijing Normal University, and finished his Ph.D. training with Dr. Xiaodong Wang from [Emory University](/org/emory-university) in 1997.

Mike Liu

Kyu-Sung Lee joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in 2022 and serves as Global Head of Technical Operations and Manufacturing. Mr. Lee came to [BeiGene](/org/beigene) from Samsung Biologics, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President, Technical Support Center; and, previously, as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Division.

Mr. Lee brings a wealth of international manufacturing experience to [BeiGene](/org/beigene). He previously held manufacturing roles at Bristol Myers Squibb –in External Manufacturing and Global Biotechnology and Technical Operations –Merck, and Amoco Bio-Products.

Mr. Lee received his B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering from [Seoul National University](/org/seoul-national-university) and his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from [Purdue University](/org/purdue-university).



Kyu-Sung Lee

Dr. Alex Shih-Min Huang joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in April 2021 and is the Vice President, Head of Cell Therapy. He is an experienced leader of science and people with substantial proficiency in drug discovery and development. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Dr. Huang had close to 20 years of industrial experience at [Novartis](/org/novartis), [Sanofi](/org/sanofi), [Genentech](/org/genentech), BMS, and [AbbVie](/org/abbvie), with increasing responsibility. During those years, he led teams and advanced programs through R&D milestones that span from target ID/validation to life cycle management. His pipeline experience encompasses diverse therapeutic modalities, including cell therapy, and targets broad biological space, including immuno-oncology, apoptosis, and B cell signaling pathways in both solid tumors and hematological malignancies.

Dr. Huang obtained his doctoral degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester Medical Center and completed his post-doctoral training at the Genomics Institute of the [Novartis](/org/novartis) Research Foundation (GNF) in San Diego.

Alex Huang

Hongyu Qian joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in May 2017 and is the Vice President, Medical Affairs, Great China. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), she worked in Novartis Oncology China, as the Head of Medical Affairs for 6 years and Country Head of Clinical Operation for 5 years, respectively. Mrs. Qian also worked at Novo Nordisk China and Quintiles China in roles of expending responsibility.

Mrs. Qian graduated from Capital Medical University with a B.S. in clinical medicine, and received an MBA from [Peking University](/org/peking-university). Before joined the pharmaceutical industry, she worked for five years as a hospital physician, focusing on nephrology.

Christiane Langer joined BeiGene in August 2021 as Senior Vice President of Global Medical Affairs. She is passionate about patients, groundbreaking science, people-oriented leadership, and building meaningful, sustainable connections. Prior to joining Beigene, Christiane served as SVP, Global Medical Affairs at AtaraBio, VP of Global Medical Affairs at Agios Pharmaceuticals, and worked in leading medical positions for Roche/Genentech in both the United States and Germany. In these roles, she built and managed medical affairs teams, led successful launches, built strong relationships, and established deep expertise around various hematology and oncology-related indications as well as cell therapy. Before that, Christiane held positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol-Myers Squibb in the United States and Europe.

Christiane earned her M.D. from the University of Freiburg, Germany and spent her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with a focus on gynecologic oncology at the University Hospital Hannover, Germany. She completed a postdoc on apoptosis research in breast cancer in Dr. John Reed’s lab at the Burnham Institute in La Jolla, CA.

Christiane Langer

Bob Mecca joined BeiGene in July 2021 as Senior Vice President, Finance. In this role, he oversees Global Finance Operations and Procurement and is responsible for enhancing finance and procurement capabilities to support the continued growth and success of the company. Mr. Mecca offers more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry leading global finance teams across commercial, R&D, manufacturing, and corporate organizations. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President, Commercialization Finance at Bristol Myers Squibb where he oversaw the global commercial and medical organizations. Prior to that role, Mr. Mecca held leadership positions as Vice President of Finance covering R&D, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, and International Commercial Operations at Bristol Myers Squibb. He started his career in technology and operations consulting at Arthur Andersen. He earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Loyola University of Maryland.

Clare Fisher joined BeiGene in July 2021 as SVP Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions, offering over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including leadership roles in corporate and business development, M&A, and strategy. Prior to joining Beigene, Ms. Fisher served as Kaleido Bioscience’s Chief Business Officer, a company dedicated to targeting the microbiome to treat a variety of diseases. Ms. Fisher previously also held senior global roles at Shire plc, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Blueprint Medicines, and Genzyme Corporation leading collaborations, licensing, M&A, investments and divestments across many technologies and therapeutic areas. Ms. Fisher holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Bath, as well as an M.B.A. from Henley Management College in the U.K.

Melika Davis joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in August 2019 as Vice President and Global Head, Clinical Operations. In this segment, she leads the overall strategy for the Global Clinical Operations organization and oversees the management and execution of all clinical trials at [BeiGene](/org/beigene). With a career dedicated to transforming clinical trials, Ms. Davis has built and grown successful global organizations that have brought 20 medical products to the market. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), she spent 15 years at [Novartis](/org/novartis) leading its clinical monitoring operations group and served most recently as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Drug Development Quality. Previously, Ms. Davis worked at Schering Plough for 13 years in roles of increasing responsibilities in research and development. She received an M.S. in Molecular Biology and a B.S. from Texas Women’s University in Dallas and a License de Physiologie from the University of Sciences in Nice, France.

Graham Hardiman joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in March 2021 as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources. Mr. Hardiman brings more than 30 years of experience in HR to [BeiGene](/org/beigene), having joined the Company from [Pfizer](/org/pfizer), where he served as a Senior Vice President and was responsible globally for talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, learning and development and diversity. Prior to that he was responsible for the HR team supporting [Pfizer](/org/pfizer)’s Oncology and Rare Disease franchises. Mr. Hardiman joined [Pfizer](/org/pfizer) from Wyeth and was initially based in the U.K., moving to Madrid Spain in 2009, and the U.S. in 2011. Prior to joining [Pfizer](/org/pfizer), Mr. Hardiman worked in HR for Siebel, Computer Associates, EMC, and Telefonica.

Diana Lee Francis joined [BeiGene](/org/beigene) in June 2017 as Vice President and Global Head, Quality and Regulatory Compliance. In this role, Ms. Francis is responsible for global quality strategy and oversees global regulatory compliance in laboratory, clinical, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing, and distribution practices. An established leader in pharmaceutical quality and compliance, she has extensive experience in building comprehensive internal and external programs and streamlining key business processes for quality assurance. Prior to joining [BeiGene](/org/beigene), Ms. Francis has served as quality function leader in companies including Medivation, [Theravance](/org/theravance), Roche, and [Genentech](/org/genentech), and has been involved in the successful commercialization of more than 10 pharmaceutical products. She received a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of California, Berkeley.

Jaspreet Jaggi, M.D., Ph.D.,joined BeiGene in October 2020 as Senior Vice President and Head, Clinical Portfolio Strategy. In this role, Dr. Jaggi is responsible for scientific and strategic evaluation, and clinical development strategy for external innovation and investments, and to help guide BeiGene’s growth strategies for internal portfolio compounds. Prior to joining BeiGene, Dr. Jaggi served in various clinical evaluation and clinical development leadership roles at Novartis for approximately 10 years. Most recently, as Vice President and Global Head of Oncology Clinical Evaluation, he led the scientific and strategic evaluation for both the internal oncology pipeline as well as external innovation. At Novartis, he spearheaded the scientific and clinical evaluation of the company’s multiple partnerships including the notable acquisitions of GSK Oncology, AAA, Endocyte, CoStim, and Admune, as well as strategic investments in CAR-T therapy and multiple in-licensing agreements. Dr. Jaggi also served as the Global Clinical Program Head for Oncology Biosimilars, overseeing an integrated clinical development team across Sandoz and Novartis. Before Novartis, he worked in various clinical development roles at Bristol Myers Squib and Pfizer. Dr. Jaggi received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering’s joint program. He was a Ludwig Center for Cancer Immunotherapy fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
