Alexandra Marvar

Alexandra Marvar is currently working as a Freelance Contributor at The New York Times Styles section, where Alexandra has been since November 2019. In addition to their work at The New York Times, Alexandra is also the Managing Editor at Being Patient, a source for independent journalism on neurology and brain health. Alexandra has vast experience in copywriting, content strategy, and social media management, having worked with clients like IBM, AT&T, and YouTube through their company, Marvar & Co, since 2007. Alexandra has also held positions in editorial roles at DVEIGHT Magazine, Bisnow, and Camden International Film Festival. Alexandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Documentary Media from Vassar College.
