José Alfredo Velásquez

José Alfredo Velásquez is an experienced agricultural professional, currently serving as a Pepper Breeder at Bejo Seeds Inc since February 2017. Prior to this role, José held positions at Monsanto Company, including Quality Coordinator at the De Ruiter San Pedro site, where responsibility encompassed quality assurance for greenhouse vegetable seed manufacturing and leading a team of 35 individuals. Additionally, José worked as Production Manager, overseeing production goals and leading a team of up to 150 personnel. Earlier experience includes serving as Supervisor of Production at De Ruiter San Pedro S.A and Project Farm Manager at MOGO S.A, where responsibilities ranged from cultivation management to greenhouse seed germination. José Alfredo Velásquez holds a Master in Business Administration from Universidad Rafael Landivar and a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
