Charlene Vaz

Charlene Vaz has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Charlene started their career as a Textile and Graphic Designer at their own company, specializing in pattern design, branding, and web layout. Then, they worked as a Textile Designer at TNG Comércio de Roupas Ltda. In 2015, they joined BekaertDeslee as a Lead Designer and later became the Design Manager. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of Design & Marketing Director North America at BekaertDeslee, where they are responsible for leading the design strategy and guiding the design department staff. Throughout their career, they have also been involved in marketing communication activities, trend research, and brand promotion events. Charlene briefly worked as a Group Designer at LCC International Money Transfer in 2007.

Charlene Vaz pursued their education in the field of design. In 2002, they enrolled at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo where they completed their Graduation in Graphic Design in 2005. Following this, they attended the Istituto Europeo di Design for a Master's degree in Packaging Design in 2006.
