Dirk Verly

Dirk Verly has a wide range of experience in human resources and leadership roles. Dirk started their career in 1989 as a Recruiter at VanRam Associates. From there, they worked as an HR Advisor at GE Power Controls until 1995, when they became the HR Director Benelux & OD Europe at Becton Dickinson. In 2000, Verly joined Picanol as the Vice-President of Human Resources & General Services, where they stayed until 2010. Dirk then served as the Director of Personnel & Organisation at Ghent University for a year before joining BekaertDeslee in 2011 as the Executive Vice President & Chief HR Officer. In 2017, Verly started their own business called Huis Van Nu, where they serve as the Owner and provides a private and quiet environment for various meetings and discussions.

Dirk Verly completed their education from 1978 to 1984 at Heilige-Maagdcollege Dendermonde, where they studied Latin-Greek. Later, from 1984 to 1989, they pursued their Master's degree in Psychology at Ghent University.
