Gino Steyaert

Gino Steyaert has extensive experience in the textile industry, primarily focusing on knitted fabrics for mattresses. Currently serving as a Project Knitting Engineer at BekaertDeslee since April 2015, Gino is involved in research and development on knitted fabrics utilizing circular double jersey machines. Prior to this, Gino worked at Bekaert Textiles from November 2005 to April 2015 as a Project Engineer, also specializing in knitted fabrics for mattresses. Gino's career began at Geratex, where from March 1992 to October 2005, Gino created new collections on STOLL flat knitting machines and supported production processes. Gino's earlier experience includes a role as Project Coordinator at DeBruyne Frank, focusing on Belgian manufacturers using STOLL flat knitting machines from November 1989 to February 1992. Gino holds a Bachelor's degree in textiles with a specialty in knitting from CTL Ghent, completed between 1986 and 1989.
