Christopher Millan

Chris Millan is the Chief Executive Officer at Beken Bio, a position held since October 2021. Previously, Chris served as a Postdoc at UniversitätsSpital Zürich, focusing on biomarker discovery for exosomal-based cancer diagnostics. As Co-Founder and CEO of CellSpring from 2015 to 2018, Chris leveraged expertise in biomedical research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Tissue Engineering and Regeneration from ETH Zürich and an MSc in Molecular Bioengineering from the same institution. Prior research roles involve impactful experiences at Novartis Consumer Health, LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, Harvard Medical School, and MIT Langer Lab, spanning topics from atherosclerosis to spinal cord injury.
