Paola Basta

Paola Basta is a seasoned expert in government relations and public policy with extensive experience in both private and public sectors. Currently serving as the Head of EU Government Relations at Beko Europe since April 2024, Paola previously held various leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation, including Head of EU Government Relations and Government Relations Senior Manager - EU Affairs. Paola's career also includes significant contributions as a Data Protection Officer for the HORIZON 2020 FUTURING Project and a Senior Consultant at PwC Advisory, where responsibilities spanned public policy analysis, project management, and fundraising. Paola holds a Master's degree in Management of Public Administration and International Institutions from Università Bocconi and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Evaluation of Public Policies from Università degli Studi di Palermo.
