Chris Davey

Chris Davey has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Chris is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at Bekonix, a California-based SaaS company specializing in IoT technologies. Previously, Chris was the Designer Owner at www.Rev001.com, where they collaborated with over 50 regional companies to develop brand identities and marketing materials. Chris also worked with a local chain of restaurants to launch a collaboration beverage to increase sales and brand awareness.

Prior to that, Chris served as the Chief Design Officer at RocketLife, leading a team in the development of a successful hardware and SaaS solution. Chris designed over 1200 UI controls and icons, and implemented tools like Sketch and InVision to streamline the concept-to-production process.

Chris also worked at Visan, Inc. as a UX/UI Designer, Graphic Designer, and Product Manager. Chris designed a popular "White Label" creative photo application and collaborated with major companies including HP, Kodak, LG, and Samsung. Chris played a role in developing and patenting an automated layout engine for photographs based on time and location data.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked at GlobalStreams as a Senior Designer, contributing to hardware and software solutions, as well as marketing materials. Chris also worked at Play, inc as a Graphic and Industrial Designer, creating advertisements, product manuals, packaging, and logos. Chris collaborated closely with engineers to bring new products to market using CAD and mock-ups.

Chris started their career at Designology Inc as a Graphic and Industrial Designer, initially as an intern, and later as a full-time employee. Chris worked with various clients in the audio, computer, and law enforcement industries to market their products.

Chris Davey attended Arizona State University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design. In 2019, they obtained a UX/UI Design and Research Certificate from UC San Diego. Additionally, they completed a Graphic Design Certificate from American River College and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Sierra College, although the specific years of attendance for these two institutions are not provided.
