Cathy Byrne has a diverse work experience in sales and business management. Cathy started their career in 1988 by establishing their own company, Byrne Sales Company, where they worked as the Owner until 2000. Cathy then joined Sara Lee in 1990 and held various sales positions until 2009. In 2001, they became a Senior Director at Bimbo Bakeries USA, where they worked until 2012. During the same year, they also worked as a Senior Customer Business Manager at Sara Lee for a short period. In 2012, they joined Smithfield Farmland as the Director of the Central Division until 2015. Following that, they joined Bel and served as the Director of Alternate Channels until 2020, when they were promoted to Vice President of Foodservice & Alternate Channels. In 2020, they were further promoted to Vice President of Sales, responsible for Walmart & Club Channel.
Cathy Byrne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Iowa State University. Cathy also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa. Additionally, they attended Regina High School.
