Principal Engineer at Belcan

Alfredo Gonzalez has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Alfredo began their career in 1998 as a Research Associate at the Instituto Mexicano del Transporte before joining GE Aviation in 2000 as a Design Analyst-Engineer. At GE, they were responsible for Finite Element Analyses for Combustion and Engine Structures systems and subsystems. In 2003, they moved to GE to become a LHD8, Propulsion Module Design Engineering Leader, where they led the design of the structural propulsion module for the LM2500+ Marine Propulsion Package. Alfredo then returned to GE Aviation in 2005, taking on various roles including CF6/M&I Hot Frames Design Engineering Leader and CFM56 Senior Engineer Leader. In 2013, Alfredo became the Life Cycle Engineering Leader at GE Aviation, leading the Combustor design for CF34-3/8/10 commercial programs and co-leading the CF34-8 HPT module design integration. Alfredo also spent time in West Chester, Ohio as a Global Employee working for GE International. Most recently, Alfredo has been working at Belcan as a Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer, leading efforts in MRO Engineering Shops support and driving program repair development and process improvements.

Alfredo Gonzalez holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya. Alfredo completed this degree from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Guanajuato, graduating between 1991 and 1996.
