Dirk Erlenkötter

Dirk Erlenkötter has extensive experience in various roles related to accounting and internal audit. Dirk most recently worked at Belden Inc. as the Director of Accounting for EMEA, where they were responsible for designing, manufacturing, and marketing signal transmission products. Before that, they worked as the Director of Internal Audit at Belden Inc., overseeing financial, SOX, and operational audits, as well as providing control consulting services and supporting acquisitions. Prior to Belden Inc., they held positions as the Director of Internal Audit at Opta Group, the Senior Corporate Auditor at Grohe, and the Finance Leader and Senior Auditor at Magna International. Earlier in their career, they served as the Internal Audit Manager at Salzgitter AG and as an Auditor at BDO Germany. Dirk Erlenkötter began their career in finance, tax, and audit at CLAAS.

Dirk Erlenkötter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Liverpool John Moores University. Dirk also obtained a Strategic Diploma in Management and Leadership from ECBM - European College of Business and Management. Additionally, Dirk earned a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) degree in Tax Law/Taxation and Auditing from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW). Dirk further completed their 1. juristische Staatsexamen and became a Diplom-Jurist (Univ.) from the University of Münster. Dirk also holds several certifications including Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Compliance-Officer, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Risk Manager.
