Subhasish Chakraborty

Subhasish Chakraborty has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Subhasish is currently the Director of Engineering, Cloud Platform at Belden Inc., where they received the 2023 Belden CEO Innovation Award for delivering a Cloud-based Orchestration Data and AI Platform. Subhasish also led the effort to rearchitect the Belden Horizon SaaS Platform and extended it from Cloud-only to air-gapped On-Prem Deployment.

Prior to Belden Inc., Subhasish worked as a Technical Manager, Privacy Platform at Meta, leading the Privacy Program Team and initiating an automation and Shift-Left Privacy Review initiative.

Subhasish also has experience working at GE Digital as a Principal Solution Architect and Senior Staff Architect, where they led various projects including the development of ML-based Outage Prediction App and Cloud Data Fabric Implementation. Subhasish also led the Solution Team for ARAMCO (Saudi Arabia) O&G Customer, building process digital twins using GE/Meridium APM and Predix Platform.

Before that, they were a Technical Product Manager at Walmart eCommerce, managing a logging and monitoring application suite on the Big Data Platform.

Subhasish started their career at eBay as a Staff Software Engineer and Software Engineer II, working on the Search Backend.

Their early work experience includes being a Sr. Oracle consultant and PL/SQL developer at Efficient Computing, Inc.

Throughout their career, Subhasish has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as cloud platforms, privacy programs, AI/ML solutions, big data platforms, and search backend development.

Subhasish Chakraborty holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, which was completed in 2020. Subhasish also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, they completed a Product Management certification course at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2015.
